PUSH - Parents of Uplands Support Hub

As valued members of the Uplands School community, we understand the unique challenges you may face as a parent or guardian of a child with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). If you find yourself needing assistance with paperwork to ensure that your child receives the appropriate support at home, or if you have any questions regarding their SEND provision at school, we are here to offer support and guidance.

Looking ahead, PUSH are excited to be planning a series of support events, designed to provide additional support and foster a sense of community among our parents and guardians.  Details of these events will be shared via email, on the website and Facebook.

PUSH News

This week we held the first PUSH coffee morning of this academic year on Thursday. The parents who attended were very keen to find out more about the support that was available to them both at school and in the wider community. We were really lucky that one of our former parents was able to attend, and share her own experiences and signpost others to services and benefits that are available to them, that they were not aware of previously.
