The School Day

Uplands School opens at 9.10am and closes at 3.15pm Monday to Friday. Registration is at 9.10 and 13.05 each day. Each school day is 5 hours 35 minutes with 30 minute lunchtime. The total time the school is open per week is 30 hours and 25 minutes. 

On Monday mornings we have a whole school assembly to look at the week ahead which is led by a different class lead each week. Assemblies will be themed and cover topics such as anti-bullying week, Children in Need or Harvest. On Friday afternoons we have a celebration assembly which is a fun way to praise and reward the great work of our students throughout the week.
